Police forces keep evacuating Idomeni for a second day in a row, without granting access to reporters and photojournalists other than those who work with the state-run ERT channel and the Athens News Agency. On Tuesday 2.031 refugees and migrants were transferred to camps
42 busses transferred 2.031 refugees to locations around Thessaloniki, where official camps have been set by authorities at Sindo, Kalochori, Oreokastro and Derveni. Other facilities have also been used at Vagiochori Volvis, Kavala Kilkis and Petra Olympou.
According to the few journalists allowed at the makeshift camp of Idomeni, the procedure is going down smoothly, based on the initial planning and police forces will stay on site until the area is completely evacuated.
